This is a family event in which all is complimentary with your registration. Enjoy face painting, balloon art, food and refreshments, entertainment and informational booths. Jump in the photo booth and make some memories, be amazed by the strolling magician and make sure to sign the Road Scholar Clayton’s Hope truck. The walk is 2 laps around the beautiful Washington Lake Park which allows you to do the entire 5k, or stop half way through and wait for the other walkers. Complimentary raffle tickets are given for being in attendance and prizes will be awarded for those raising the most donations and for the largest teams in attendance.

This year you are able to generate a personal fundraising page through this site, just click on the fundraising link above. Friends, family and coworkers can aide you in raising funds by furnishing them with your site information. Also, don’t forget to share it on your social media accounts. If you are not able to join us for the walk, the fundraising page will aide you in collecting donations and spreading awareness for Epilepsy and the need for research, awareness and support.

Steps for Seizures was founded in 2006, by Clayton’s sister Ashley, and continues to grow each year. Due to the efforts of our supporters our registration has increased yearly – last year we had over 600 registrants!

Although Clayton is no longer physically with us, he and his Epilepsy angel friends are with us in spirit. This walk is dedicated to the memory of Clayton Myers, Caitlin Bollendorf, Sebastian Saravia and Peter Hladasz III.
It is also held in Tribute to all individuals living with Epilepsy.
